Description
Air Fryer Funnel Cake Bites are the kind of quick dessert that make an ordinary day feel instantly more fun. These golden, fluffy bites are warm on the inside, lightly crisp around the edges, and finished with a generous dusting of powdered sugar for that classic fair-food feeling at home. They are perfect for a quick breakfast treat, easy dessert, fun party snack, sweet brunch idea, or simple air fryer recipe when you want something fast, cozy, and crowd-pleasing without deep frying.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough, 8-count
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Nonstick cooking spray
2 tablespoons chocolate sauce, optional
2 tablespoons vanilla glaze, optional
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
2. Open the biscuit dough and separate each biscuit.
3. Cut each biscuit into 4 bite-sized pieces.
4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
5. Place the dough pieces in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space between them.
6. Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the pieces halfway through, until golden brown and puffed.
7. Transfer the bites to a plate and brush them with melted butter while still warm.
8. Dust generously with powdered sugar.
9. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or vanilla glaze if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the bites may cook unevenly and stay pale in spots.
Dust with powdered sugar right before serving for the prettiest finish and best texture.
