Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs (whisked)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp honey

Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up a breading station: whisk eggs in one bowl, and mix cornstarch and flour in another.
  3. Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then coat evenly in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry the chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
  5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  6. Drizzle or toss the fried chicken in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions and serve immediately.
