Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs (whisked)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp honey
Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Set up a breading station: whisk eggs in one bowl, and mix cornstarch and flour in another.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then coat evenly in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry the chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Drizzle or toss the fried chicken in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped chives or green onions and serve immediately.
