Ingredients

450g ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning (28g)

1 can Rotel tomatoes (285g), undrained

1 can cream of chicken soup (295g)

120g sour cream

200g cheddar cheese, shredded

150g Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed

Fresh diced tomatoes (optional topping)

Chopped cilantro or green onions (optional topping)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.

2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until beef is browned.

3. Add minced garlic, stir for 1 minute, then add taco seasoning and Rotel. Simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Reduce heat and stir in the cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.

5. Layer half the crushed Doritos on the bottom of the dish.

6. Spread half of the beef mixture on top, then a layer of shredded cheese.

7. Repeat layers with remaining Doritos, beef mixture, and cheese.

8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

9. Top with chopped tomatoes, cilantro, or green onions if desired.

10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This dish is best served fresh, but leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated for up to 3 days.

For a spicier version, use Spicy Nacho Doritos or add sliced jalapeños between layers.
