Ingredients
200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
100g unsalted butter
100g brown sugar
100g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
20g cocoa powder
80g all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
1. Melt dark chocolate and butter together until smooth and glossy. Let cool slightly.
2. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until pale and thick.
3. Mix in the melted chocolate and vanilla extract into the sugar mixture.
4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold gently to combine.
5. Chill the batter for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
