Ingredients
4–6 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups whole milk
1–2 teaspoons salt (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for garnish)
Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Water (enough to submerge the corn halfway)
Instructions
- Husk the corn and remove all silk. Rinse well.
- In a large pot, add butter, milk, water, salt, and pepper. Heat on medium until the butter melts.
