Ingredients

1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1.5 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

8 oz medium pasta shells

2 tablespoons butter, divided

3 garlic cloves, minced

1.5 cups heavy cream

1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut steak into bite-sized cubes and pat dry. Toss with Cajun seasoning to coat evenly.

2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a hot skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add steak in batches and sear 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

5. Pour in heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted into a smooth sauce.

7. Add pasta to sauce and mix until well coated.

8. Return steak bites to the pan or plate on top. Garnish with parsley and tomatoes if using.

9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Sear steak in batches to avoid overcrowding and ensure a perfect crust.

Add a splash of milk when reheating to keep the cheese sauce creamy.
