Ingredients
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
10 oz cheese tortellini
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp butter
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the steak: Season the sliced steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp butter, and sear the steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the onions and garlic: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the onions and cook until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Make the sauce: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up browned bits. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Cook the tortellini: Boil in a separate pot according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Combine everything: Add the steak back into the skillet, followed by the cooked tortellini. Stir in provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Garnish and serve: Turn off the heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and enjoy!
