A rich and creamy fusion of Philly cheesesteak and cheesy tortellini, this dish is packed with tender beef, sautéed onions, and a luscious sauce. Quick to make and bursting with flavor, it’s the perfect comfort food for any occasion. Ideal for family dinners or meal prepping!

Ingredients

1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

10 oz cheese tortellini

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp butter

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak: Season the sliced steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp butter, and sear the steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onions and garlic: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the onions and cook until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  3. Make the sauce: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up browned bits. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Cook the tortellini: Boil in a separate pot according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Combine everything: Add the steak back into the skillet, followed by the cooked tortellini. Stir in provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Garnish and serve: Turn off the heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and enjoy!
