Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet, sauté diced onion over medium heat until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess grease.
4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cream of mushroom soup. Mix until beef is well coated.
5. Spread beef mixture into the prepared baking dish.
6. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef.
7. Arrange tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer.
8. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until tots are golden and the casserole is bubbling.
9. In the last 5 minutes, add remaining cheese and crumbled bacon on top.
10. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted.
