Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

2 cups cooked white rice

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef; sauté until softened.

4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Let it simmer for a few minutes.

5. Fold in the cooked white rice and mix thoroughly.

6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.

7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

9. Let it rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Add a splash more broth if the mixture feels too dry before baking.

Substitute cheddar with Monterey Jack or a blend for a different cheese twist.
