1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
Olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
