Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (or a mix with pork)
0.5 cup breadcrumbs
0.25 cup milk
1 large egg
0.25 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.25 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
12 cubes cheddar cheese
0.25 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
2. Mix breadcrumbs with milk and let sit for 2–3 minutes.
3. Add beef, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
4. Flatten 2 tablespoons of meat in your palm, add a cheese cube, wrap and roll into a ball.
5. Place in muffin tin and top each with ketchup or BBQ sauce.
6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through and caramelized on top.
7. Cool 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat mixture—just enough to combine.
Use mozzarella or pepper jack cubes for cheesy variety.
