Ingredients
3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 1/2 cups diced ham
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread shredded chicken evenly in the bottom of the dish, then layer diced ham on top.
- In a saucepan, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add Swiss cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken and ham, spreading evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy!
