3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

For the Garlic Parmesan Rice:

1 cup long-grain white rice

2 cups chicken broth

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rice: In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in rice, then pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in Parmesan and season with salt.
