6 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

4 cups day-old French bread, cubed
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
