Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Lime wedges and extra cilantro for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until just opaque.
  4. Remove salmon and reduce heat to medium.

  6. Stir in cilantro, return salmon to the skillet, and spoon glaze over fillets.
  7. Let simmer 1 more minute, then serve with lime wedges.
