Ingredients
4 large cinnamon rolls (day-old or fresh)
3 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Cut cinnamon rolls into bite-sized cubes and place in a greased baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth.
3. Pour custard mixture over the cinnamon roll cubes. Press gently to soak and let sit for 20–30 minutes.
4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes or until golden and set in the center.
5. Mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth, then drizzle over warm pudding and serve.
Notes
Day-old cinnamon rolls work best for absorbing the custard without falling apart.
Let the pudding rest before baking for optimal texture and richness.
