Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for dipping)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini donut pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until donuts spring back when touched.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- While still warm, dip each donut in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
