Description

Sweet, creamy, and crowned with a ruby-red cherry topping, Classic Cherry Delight is a no-bake dessert that never goes out of style. This easy recipe layers a buttery graham cracker crust with a fluffy, vanilla-kissed cream cheese filling and finishes with a glossy cherry topping that steals the show. It’s a perfect blend of texture and taste, ideal for quick breakfasts, easy dinner desserts, or special occasion treats.

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Fresh cherries or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a square 8×8 or 9×9-inch dish to form the crust. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until well blended.
  3. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the surface.
  4. Spoon cherry pie filling over the cream layer. Spread gently to cover.
  5. Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Garnish with fresh cherries or mint leaves before serving (optional).
