Ingredients

For the Chicken:

2 boneless skin-on chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and black pepper, to taste

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

For the Buttered Noodles:

8 oz egg noodles

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

¼ cup reserved pasta water

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Sear chicken skin-side down for 6-7 minutes, then flip and cook another 6-8 minutes until done.
  3. Bring salted water to a boil and cook egg noodles until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
  4. Return noodles to the pot, add butter and pasta water. Stir until creamy and seasoned.
  5. Slice chicken and serve over noodles. Garnish with parsley.
