Ingredients

8 oz medium pasta shells

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

1 cup beef broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce: Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add Cream & Cheese: Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing until fully melted.
  6. Combine with Pasta: Add cooked pasta shells to the skillet and stir until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve & Enjoy: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
