Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup lump crab meat
4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, finely chopped

1 pinch cayenne pepper
1/4 cup white wine
2 cups seafood or chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in tomato paste, Old Bay seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to enhance flavor.
3. Deglaze the pot with white wine, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add seafood or chicken stock. Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup base until smooth, or blend in batches.
6. Lower heat to medium-low. Stir in heavy cream, shrimp, and crab meat. Simmer gently for 5-7 minutes until shrimp is pink and cooked through.

Notes
