Ingredients

1 ½ cups eggnog

1 cup heavy cream

1 packet (2 ½ tsp) unflavored gelatin

2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional, for garnish)

¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

½ cup whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

1. Sprinkle gelatin over ¼ cup cold eggnog in a small bowl and let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.

2. In a saucepan, combine remaining eggnog, heavy cream, and sugar. Heat over medium until steaming but not boiling.

3. Remove from heat. Stir in bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Add vanilla extract and whisk to combine.

4. Pour the mixture into ramekins or serving glasses. Chill for at least 4 hours until set.

5. To unmold, dip ramekins in warm water for 10–15 seconds. Invert onto plates.

6. Garnish with whipped cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use high-quality eggnog for best flavor and texture.

To make it dairy-free, use almond-based eggnog and coconut cream.
