Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

1/2 lb Italian sausage

1/2 lb ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups fresh spinach

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Brown the Italian sausage and ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

2. Push the meat aside, add butter and garlic to the pan, and sauté until fragrant.

3. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Cook the tortellini separately as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.

5. Add tortellini and spinach to the skillet, tossing gently until spinach wilts and pasta is coated.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot with extra Parmesan.

Notes

Use refrigerated tortellini for the best texture and quick cooking.

Stir in a splash of cream when reheating to maintain creaminess.
