Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

8 oz linguine pasta

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

3. In a separate pot, cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

5. Add heavy cream and stir in parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.

6. Add linguine to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Stir in mozzarella until melted and combined.

7. Slice the rested chicken and place over the cheesy linguine.

8. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for the creamiest texture and richest flavor.

Add a splash of pasta water if your sauce needs thinning before serving.
