A rich and comforting pasta dish made with ground beef, a creamy homemade Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. This easy one-pan meal is perfect for weeknights and guaranteed to satisfy your cravings for a hearty and cheesy dinner.

Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chicken or beef broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in the same skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add Cheese and Seasonings: Lower the heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
  5. Combine Everything: Return the cooked beef to the skillet, add the drained pasta, and toss everything together. Adjust the sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.
