Ingredients
14 ounces extra-firm tofu
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Drain the tofu and press it for 20 to 30 minutes to remove as much moisture as possible.
2. Cut the pressed tofu into even bite-sized cubes.
3. Place the tofu in a bowl and toss with olive oil and soy sauce.
4. Add cornstarch, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, then toss gently until the cubes are evenly coated.
5. Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
6. Air fry at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.
