These Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes are the perfect bite-sized pizza treat! Made with pizza dough, rich tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni, they’re a fun and delicious twist on traditional pizza. Perfect for parties, snacks, or a quick meal, these mini pizzas are easy to make and endlessly customizable. Enjoy a crispy crust, melty cheese, and bold flavors in every bite!


Ingredients

1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or biscuit dough)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out pizza dough and cut into circles large enough to fit each muffin cup. Press the dough into the wells, forming a cup shape.
  3. Spoon 1-2 tbsp of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add mini pepperoni slices and any other desired toppings.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Brush the dough edges with olive oil for a crispier crust.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, then carefully remove from the muffin tin.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve warm.
