Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups pizza sauce or marinara
2 eggs
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 9-inch deep pie crust (pre-made or homemade)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out and press pie crust into a deep pie dish. Prick with a fork and pre-bake for 8 minutes.
2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned. Drain fat.
3. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
4. Stir in pizza sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
5. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Mix in the cooled meat mixture.
6. Layer the meat mixture, mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni in the crust. Repeat layers if needed.
7. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
