Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups pastel Easter M&Ms (plus extra for topping)

Optional: 1/2 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the M&Ms and optional white chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan and press a few extra M&Ms on top.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden on the edges and just set in the center.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
