Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup cranberry sauce
1/4 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
1 sprig fresh rosemary (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place on the prepared sheet.
3. Position the brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
4. Spoon cranberry sauce over the top of the brie and sprinkle with toasted chopped pecans.
5. Fold pastry edges over the brie, sealing tightly. Flip so the seam is on the bottom.
6. Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and puffed.
8. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary if desired.
Notes
Make sure to let the brie rest after baking to prevent it from spilling out too quickly.
Toast the pecans beforehand for the best flavor and texture.
