Description

Easy Eggnog Fudge is the kind of holiday treat that gets people excited the moment they see it on the table. It is creamy, rich, and full of that smooth eggnog flavor with a gentle hint of nutmeg in every bite. I love this easy recipe because it feels festive and special without being difficult, making it perfect for a quick dessert, holiday candy tray, easy Christmas treat, homemade food gift, and simple make-ahead dessert idea for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

3 cups white chocolate chips

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup eggnog

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg for topping

Instructions

1. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving enough overhang to lift the fudge out easily after chilling.

2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, eggnog, butter, and salt to a saucepan over low heat and stir until the butter melts and the mixture is warm and smooth.

3. Add the white chocolate chips and stir continuously until fully melted and the mixture becomes thick and glossy.

4. Stir in the vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg until evenly combined.

5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it into an even layer with a spatula.

6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg lightly over the top.

7. Refrigerate for 3 hours, or until the fudge is completely firm.

8. Lift the fudge from the pan, cut into 25 small squares, and serve chilled or slightly softened at room temperature.

Notes

Use low heat the entire time so the white chocolate melts smoothly and does not seize.

For the cleanest slices, chill the fudge fully and wipe the knife between cuts.
