Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large carrot, shredded

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 small green cabbage, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.

2. Stir in minced garlic and shredded carrots. Cook until softened and fragrant.

3. Add ground beef. Break apart and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

4. Stir in tomato paste, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes to blend flavors.

5. Fold in sliced cabbage and cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.

6. Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with parsley if using, and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, try using smoked paprika or a pinch of red chili flakes.

Want to stretch the meal? Serve over rice, potatoes, or stuff into bell peppers.
