12 ounces penne pasta

2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or parsley
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne until al dente according to the package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
3. Add the diced onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute more.
