Description

Get ready for a chocolate lover’s dream with these Fudgy Brownie Cookies. Each bite has the best of both worlds—crispy, crackly tops like a brownie and soft, gooey centers like your favorite cookie. This easy recipe is the perfect answer to your sweet cravings. Whether you need a quick dessert, a treat for your lunchbox, or ideas for a party platter, this chocolate-packed cookie fits right in. These cookies are great for holiday trays, bake sales, or cozy nights with a cup of milk. If you’re looking for a quick dessert, easy recipe, or indulgent snack, this one’s a keeper.

Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

flaky sea salt (optional for topping)

Instructions

1. Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a heat-safe bowl until smooth; let cool slightly.

2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until thick and pale.

3. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla extract until fully combined.

4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold until incorporated.

5. Chill the dough in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.

6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto parchment-lined baking sheets.

7. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until tops are crackly and edges are just set.

8. Optionally, sprinkle with flaky sea salt immediately after baking.

9. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring.

Notes

Do not overbake—cookies should look slightly underdone in the center.

Chilling the dough is key for those glossy tops and fudgy centers.
