Ingredients
Chicken Balls:
1 lb ground chicken
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, and spices. Form into small balls.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear chicken balls until golden, about 2-3 mins per side. Set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic, cook until fragrant. Add parsley and chicken balls. Cook 5-6 minutes until done.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Slowly add milk and cream, whisking to prevent lumps. Simmer to thicken.
- Stir in Parmesan until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss pasta in sauce. Plate and top with chicken balls. Garnish as desired.
