Ingredients

1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 cups broccoli florets

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp smoked paprika

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Juice of ½ lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add broccoli and cook 4-5 minutes until just tender. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer. Sear 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Return broccoli to the pan. Squeeze lemon juice over the top and stir to combine.
