Ingredients

12 oz steak (sirloin, tenderloin, or ribeye)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

8 oz pasta shells

1 cup heavy cream

4 oz cream cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1.25 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

0.5 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes in batches, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower heat, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Return steak to pan and toss in garlic butter. Garnish with parsley.

4. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

5. In a saucepan, heat cream, cream cheese, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth.

6. Add cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stir until melted and creamy.

7. Add paprika, stir, then toss in cooked pasta. Mix until evenly coated.

8. Serve steak bites with creamy cheddar shells, top with extra parsley.

Notes

Make sure the skillet is hot before searing steak to get a good crust.

Add a splash of pasta water if the Alfredo sauce is too thick.
