Ingredients

1 pound cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 chicken breasts, diced

Salt and black pepper to taste

34 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon butter

1 ½ cups heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 ½ cups broccoli florets, blanched or steamed

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Optional: red pepper flakes

Fresh parsley and extra Parmesan for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and done, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Add cooked chicken, broccoli, and tortellini to the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
  7. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to let flavors blend.
  8. Turn off heat, garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan, and serve hot.
