Ingredients
1 pound cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 chicken breasts, diced
Salt and black pepper to taste
3–4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 ½ cups broccoli florets, blanched or steamed
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Optional: red pepper flakes
Fresh parsley and extra Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and done, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth. Add red pepper flakes if using.
- Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add cooked chicken, broccoli, and tortellini to the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
