Ingredients
2 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butterscotch chips (optional)
1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine milk chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips if using.
2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth and fully melted.
3. Add the chow mein noodles and gently fold to coat them completely in the chocolate mixture.
4. Drop spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping into small haystacks.
5. Sprinkle sea salt on top if desired.
6. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until firm.
7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
Gently fold the noodles to avoid crushing them for a better “haystack” look.
Add sprinkles or colored sugar for a festive twist!
