Ingredients

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon butter (softened)

2 teaspoons peppermint extract

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

12 ounces dark chocolate (chopped or chips)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for melting)

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, and peppermint extract.

2. Gradually stir in powdered sugar until a smooth dough forms.

3. Roll into 1-inch balls and flatten into discs. Place on parchment-lined tray.

4. Freeze patties for 30 minutes or until firm.

5. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth.

6. Dip each peppermint disc in chocolate using a fork, letting excess drip off.

7. Place dipped patties on tray and refrigerate until chocolate sets.

8. Store in airtight container in fridge or freezer.

Notes

For a cleaner coating, make sure patties are very cold before dipping.

Store with parchment between layers to prevent sticking.
