Description

Get ready for a salmon dinner that tastes like something you would order at a cozy restaurant but can easily make at home on a busy night. This Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is sweet, savory, garlicky, glossy, and finished with fresh lemon for the perfect balance. It is a quick dinner, an easy recipe for weeknights, and one of my favorite healthy dinner ideas when I want big flavor without a long prep. If you are looking for seafood dinner ideas, easy dinner inspiration, or simple food ideas that feel special, this salmon absolutely delivers.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

1/3 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

4 lemon slices

Instructions

1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.

3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

4. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4 minutes on the first side until lightly golden.

5. Flip the salmon carefully and cook for 2 more minutes.

6. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt around the salmon.

7. Pour in the honey garlic mixture and let it bubble gently.

8. Spoon the glaze over the salmon for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and the salmon is cooked through.

9. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

10. Serve right away with lemon slices and extra glaze from the pan.

Notes

Use salmon fillets of similar thickness so they cook evenly and stay tender.

Do not let the honey glaze boil too hard, or it can thicken too quickly before the salmon finishes cooking.
