Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)

3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Brush or spoon half of the glaze over the salmon fillets.
  4. Pan-Searing Method: Heat a skillet over medium-high with a bit of oil. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes, flip, and cook for 3–4 more minutes. Spoon remaining glaze on top during the last minute.
  5. Oven-Baking Method: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake salmon on a parchment-lined tray for 12–15 minutes. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a caramelized top.
  6. Remove from heat, rest for a minute, garnish with herbs and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
