Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning. Sear in a skillet over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and rest.

2. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain pasta.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream and stir. Add Parmesan and mix until sauce is smooth and thickened.

4. Slice the cooked chicken. Add pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water into the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat.

5. Top with sliced chicken and additional Parmesan. Garnish with parsley or black pepper. Serve immediately.

Notes

Add reserved pasta water gradually to adjust the sauce thickness to your liking.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
