Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
12 egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeños, green onions, and garlic powder. Mix well.
2. Lay out egg roll wrappers on a clean surface with a small bowl of water nearby.
3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling into the center of each wrapper.
4. Fold the bottom corner up, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the top edge with water.
5. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry egg rolls seam side down for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Adjust heat by keeping or removing jalapeño seeds.
