Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Add lemon juice and honey, stirring to combine.
5. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Pound chicken evenly before cooking for uniform thickness and even sear.
Add lemon zest to the sauce for an extra citrus punch if desired.
