Lemon Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, coated with Parmesan and garlic, and brightened by fresh lemon. This dish is simple to make yet full of flavor, perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders (or chicken breasts, cut into strips)

1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken tenders and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Add lemon juice and zest to the garlic butter, stirring to combine.
  7. Once the chicken tenders are cooked, drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the top and serve.
