Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb ground beef

6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Season with onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  4. In the skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until smooth and melted.
  7. Add pasta and cooked beef into the sauce. Toss until evenly coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over top and garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve hot.
