Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into halves)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 slices bacon, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season and Sear the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Bacon and Garlic: In the same skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Prepare the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Simmer the Chicken: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Let it simmer for 8–10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle crispy bacon and fresh parsley over the chicken. Serve warm with your favorite side dish.
