This Marry Me Chicken recipe features juicy chicken breasts simmered in a creamy, garlicky parmesan sauce with crispy bacon and sun-dried tomatoes. It’s an easy, one-pan meal that’s perfect for date nights or family dinners. Serve it with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!

Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into halves)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 slices bacon, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season and Sear the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the Bacon and Garlic: In the same skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Simmer the Chicken: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Let it simmer for 8–10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle crispy bacon and fresh parsley over the chicken. Serve warm with your favorite side dish.
