1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Salt and black pepper to taste

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent, about 4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Add cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the beef evenly.
