1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cubed
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 tbsp unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from pot and set aside.
